Good Wednesday Morning! Here are today’s highlights
The rain and showers have ended over most of Newfoundland this morning, but there are still a few sprinkles on the Avalon as of 6 AM.
The heaviest rain is now offshore (radar loop above) and is moving away from eastern sections of the Island.
Skies will be sunny or gradually turn sunny across Newfoundland today. Highs reach the 20s.
Mostly sunny skies will be the rule in Labrador, with highs in the upper teens and 20s.
There may be some isolated showers over southern and interior Newfoundland this afternoon.

Now, this morning there will be some lingering cloud cover here and there, especially in the east. In the east, that cloud will be slow to clear out, but it should do so by mid to late morning. Some areas are also seeing a bit of fog, especially in the south where it's quite dense, like in Trepassey, and some of the roads in the region are wet. The fog will be slow to clear over southern areas today.

Temperatures will peak today in the upper teens to the mid and upper twenties. And while it won't feel quite as muggy as yesterday, it will still be a little muggy, with humidex values getting into the upper twenties to the low thirties. There may also be a few pop-up showers inland from the south coast, and over interior Newfoundland late this afternoon.
In Labrador today, the weather will be sunny with a few pop-up showers late in the day, mainly over interior areas. Highs ranging from the upper teens to the mid and upper twenties.
