Good Monday Morning!
We are looking at a cool and mostly dry start to the day across the Province. Temperatures are near or below the freezing mark, and radar suggests there are a few isolated rain and snow showers on the go at this hour (5:50 AM over parts of southern and western Newfoundland.
Weather-wise, today we will see a mix of sun and cloud across Newfoundland and Labrador. There will be some scattered showers or flurries over southern and western areas of the Island through much of the day, although that activity should become even more isolated this afternoon.
This morning’s update is sponsored by Roebothan, McKay, Marshall.

A weak disturbance will move into western Newfoundland on Tuesday afternoon, bringing snow and rain with it. The snow will be found over most areas, with rain along and near the South and Southwest Coast. That same system will bring some scattered showers and flurries to southern and eastern Newfoundland Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Temperatures for much of NL on Tuesday will peak near or below freezing.
Wednesday may see a similar, weak, fast-moving disturbance move through. The next significant weather-maker arrives on Thursday. This will be another low-pressure centre that cuts west of Newfoundland. This means more rain and mild temperatures for the Island snow for Labrador from Thursday into Friday.

After that, it looks like we'll start moving toward a colder weather pattern, but that change may not be obvious until the early part of December.
My next update will be posted this afternoon.
