Thursday Morning Weather Brief — October 2, 2025
Good Thursday morning!
Temperatures are starting off on the cool side this morning with many areas across the Island and Labrador seeing near or sub-freezing temperatures. If you haven’t gotten outside yet, check the temperature in your area and allow some extra time for windshield scraping if you have frost.
This morning’s update is sponsored by Roebothan, McKay, and Marshall.

The weather across the province today looks quite favorable for most areas, with plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures. In eastern regions, particularly near north-facing shores, expect a few clouds and scattered showers this morning. These will taper off after lunch, and the skies will clear this afternoon. It will also be a bit breezy today in certain spots, with gusts reaching up to 60 km/h over exposed areas.
Warmer temperatures are expected for Friday and Saturday... and I'll provide all the details in this afternoon's forecast! In the meantime, be sure to get my app if you haven’t yet and bookmark the webcam page! Both of those will prove extremely helpful as we move into the colder season!
