Here are today’s weather highlights:
A fast-moving low departs this morning, rain, scattered showers and flurries will linger through the morning for much of Newfoundland and parts of Labrador.
Temperatures will fall today over western and central Newfoundland from highs this morning. Eastern areas wil see the happen this afternoon and evening.
Cold and breezy in the Big Land today, and generally sunny.
An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect for Labrador West, Churchill Falls and the Churchill Valley for tonight for wind chills to -45ºC.
A Special Weather Statement is in effecto fr southern and eastern Newfoundland and for Wednesday ahead of a cold weather maker that promises to bring another round of snow and ice, starting Wednesday morning.
