Good morning! Temperatures are in the single digits and teens across the Province as we start the day. The day is also starting sunny and clear for most areas. Don’t forget you can watch the sunrise in real time from any of my cameras, and you can find them right here.
Today will be very similar to the last couple of days across the Province, which means this forecast blurb will be short and sweet. We can expect sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid-teens to low 20s. It will be another beautifully early fall day across Newfoundland and Labrador. Get out there and enjoy it!
WATCHING A NOR’EASTER SOUTH OF NL THIS WEEKEND
I am still watching the Nor’easter that will take shape near the northeastern United States over the next few days. Forecasts indicate this storm will bring high winds, heavy rain, storm surge, and large waves to the Mid-Atlantic and southern New England states. There’s also the chance that rain and wind move into the Maritime PRovinces by Saturday. This system will remain south of Newfoundland and Labrador through the weekend as high pressure keeps our weather dry and generally sunny. There is a chance that parts of Newfoundland will see a bit of rain from the remnants of this low by the early part of next week. Stay tuned.
