Good Friday morning!

Here are today’s highlights:

  • An area of low pressure swirling southwest of Newfoundland, near Nova Scotia, will bring rain, drizzle and fog to the Island this morning.

  • The fog along and near east-facing shores will be very dense in spots.

  • The rainfall rates will generally be light, and the rain will stay south of the Northern Peninsula today.

  • The rain and showers will ease tonight before another round arrives early Saturday morning. This second round will primarly affect the eastern half of the Island.

  • Highs today reach the mid to upper single digits on the Island and teens to near 20ºC in Labrador. Parts of the Northern Peninsula, especially on the western side, will also see some warmth via temps in the teens.
