Wildfire Update: Ground Crews Make Progress Thanks to Rainfall
The Provincial Government provided an update on the fires earlier this morning.
Cooler Temps and Less Wind Highlight Tuesday Evening’s Forecast
Southern and southwestern Newfoundland got absolutely soaked between late last night and this morning. Some places saw rain literally (almost) coming down in buckets. Stephenville picked up close to 80 mm, and St. Albans, Wreckhouse, and Port aux Basques all saw significant totals too.
